This is the one thing no other tool does: put your own photos on your Tesla's screen. A photo of a restaurant menu while you decide what to order. A screenshot of a trail map at the trailhead. A parking spot photo so you remember where you left the car. Your kid's drawing, big on the dashboard display. Push up to six photos from your phone to the car — privately, and only for as long as you need them.
Show photos on your Tesla in 4 steps
1. Open the receiver page in your car.
While parked, open your Tesla's browser and go to pushtocar.com/car. The screen shows a QR code and a short pairing code.
2. Scan the QR code with your phone.
Point your phone camera at the code. Your phone opens a private sender page paired to your car — no app to install, no account to create.
3. Choose up to six photos and send.
Tap the photo button, pick your photos, and send. They're compressed on your phone first, so they load fast on the car screen.
4. View them in the car.
The photos appear on your Tesla's display, sized for the screen. Swipe through them, then get on with your day.
Are my photos private?
Yes — that's the whole point of the feature. Your photos are compressed on your phone before they're sent, they're deleted from the service the moment your car downloads them, and anything left over is swept away when your one-hour pairing expires. There's no gallery, no history, no account they could be tied to.
When is this actually useful?
More often than you'd think: checking a menu before you walk into a restaurant, comparing paint or upholstery swatches at a shop, showing passengers a photo without passing your unlocked phone around, pulling up a screenshot of directions or a QR ticket at a gate. Anywhere you'd hold your phone up for someone to see, the big screen does it better.
You can also send a regular web link.
FAQ
How many photos can I send at once?
Up to six per batch. You can send another batch right after.
Do my photos stay on a server somewhere?
No. Each photo is deleted immediately after your car fetches it, and unretrieved photos are deleted when the session expires.
Does it cost anything?
No. Photo pushing is free, like everything else on PushToCar.
Can I send photos while driving?
No — set it up while parked. It's built for parked and charging moments.
